As we usher in the New Year, our team at the Connecticut Roundtable On Climate And Jobs wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for all the hard work our members have accomplished together in the past year. Their tireless efforts to ensure that our planet remains healthy and sustainable are truly inspiring.
Looking back on the past year, we’ve achieved some major victories in the fight for environmental justice. We’ve seen increased awareness around the issues of climate change, carbon free & healthy schools, transportation emissions & air pollution, clean energy & offshore wind, green job creation, community-centered & worker-oriented project labor agreements, and the importance of preserving our natural resources. Together, we’ve made significant strides towards creating a healthier and more sustainable planet for today’s workers and future generations.
But there is still so much work to be done. As we move forward into the New Year, we are confident that we can continue to make progress towards a more sustainable future. And we know that with your continued support and dedication, we can achieve even greater things. Here are 10 New Year resolutions you can use to further the fight for climate action and environmental justice in our state.
Here’s to a happy, prosperous, and greener New Year! Let’s keep up the good work and continue to fight for environmental justice in all its forms.
