Last week (Feb. 8, 2022), climate activists marched from Eversource’s corporate office in Hartford, then progressed to Travelers, UConn Hartford, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and ended at the state Capitol. Marchers could be heard chanting, “Climate action now,” and “Planet earth is under attack” as they made their way through Hartford. There were several speakers at each stop on the march who stressed the impact of climate change on poor communities and communities of color. CRCJ participated in the march.
