CRCJ Executive Director Aziz Dehkan joined a panel discussion on October 22, 2021 to discuss what Connecticut can do to ensure there is an sustainable food system. The conversation examined how local leaders can engage with the community and advocate for equitable, green resources for farmers who grow our food without displacing trade workers who fear a green system will lead to job loss. Aziz was joined by fellow panelist Kip Kolesinkas in raising awareness that the process is a local one with possibilities and vast opportunities for change. The event was live tweeted for those on social media who wanted to interact with CRCJ while listening to the webinar.
